This small change can help reduce your risk of Diabetes

Welcome to Marginal Gains

Hello, Marginal Gains community!

We're excited to have you with us once again as we explore ways to make meaningful changes in our lives.

This week:

Did you know that if you sit for long periods of time, your risk of developing diabetes can go up by 30%?

When you sit a lot, your body has a harder time controlling your blood pressure and keeping your insulin levels balanced.

Increasing your chances of developing high blood pressure and Diabetes.

All it takes is a simple change to lower the risk.

Moving often.

This is why I aim to stand up and move around every 30-60 minutes.

It could be a quick 2 minute walk, stretching or some squats which doesn't sound like much.

But it all adds up.

So make an effort to get up and move around regularly - your body will thank you.
